Pharmacometrics

About the workshop

This workshop provides a deep dive into Pumas, a powerful pharmacometric platform designed for modeling and simulation in drug development. Over two days, participants will gain hands-on experience and knowledge, starting from basic workflows to advanced topics such as population pharmacokinetics (PK), bioequivalence, and sequential PKPD modeling. Experts will guide attendees through various stages of model building, diagnostics, and data wrangling, with opportunities to explore specialized areas like absorption models, using non-Gaussian random effects and data models, and time-to-event analysis.

The workshop will cover

  • Non-Compartmental Analysis in PumasCP
  • Population pharmacokinetics Modeling and Simulation in Pumas
  • Simulations for decision-making in patient care and drug development

Target audience

Postgraduate students of pharmacy or medicine disciplines, academics, scientists, pharmacists, medical doctors and other allied health professionals

Maximum number of participants: 40
Venue: Bilik Seminar 4, HSAAS UPM
